Our Effected 2.5-inch wide leather guitar strap.

These are hand-made using beautiful full-grain leather, giving great depth and character and making each strap unique. The reverse side has luxurious matching suede that prevents slipping when worn.

The strap is finished with ochre stitching.

The Effected signal icon is debossed carefully into each strap to give a subtle finish.

Each guitar strap comes with its own leather tag debossed with the Effected logo and an organic cotton drawstring bag.

Made to use and last a lifetime.

Available in black or brown - remember to select which you would like.

Our guitar straps are hand-made in Devon, England by fifth generation leather crafting family, Heistercamp.

With tradition dating back to 1884, Nigel, Alaine, James and Craig pride themselves on making world class, premium quality guitar straps.

The leather and suede for each strap is carefully selected before it's run through a knife-press to create the components which will form your finished guitar strap. Each strap is stitched carefully around the edges before the holes are hand-punched. Then the final touch is a bespoke Effected signal icon is pressed into the leather.

We use offcuts from the hides to create a leather Effected tag which comes with each strap. We also use remaining offcuts to create our Effected leather key fobs in an effort to avoid any waste.

Each guitar strap is made using either black or dark brown pull-up leather with colour matching suede lining and ochre stitching.

Key measurements:
Strap width is 2 ½ ”
*Strap length is medium/48" (43"-56")
Feeder strap width is 1 ⅛ ”
8mm button holes

*The first number is the length of the strap when set in the middle of its available adjustment. The bracketed numbers show the range of length that is covered by the adjustment.

There is only one size available.

Our straps are hand made from full-grain leather. Please be aware that the hides contain natural creasing and markings from the cow during its happy life. This creates depth and character to the straps and makes each item unique.

Cleaning: Use a slightly damp cloth to remove any dirt or stickiness. Avoid excess water. Gentle veg based soaps can be used but only sparingly.

Scratches: For little touch-ups, use high quality leather dressing containing a dye (e.g. renovating polish). Rub in to minimise appearance of small scratches. We recommend you colour test a small patch first just in case!

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place ideally. Avoid extremes of temperature and water! Hanging it up straight can help avoid damage or bending.

Moisturise: Just as you would a new pair of leather shoes, we recommend wearing your strap in initially. If it starts to feel or look dry then use a good quality leather conditioner. However, avoid water and never speed up the drying process with a hair dryer or radiator. If your strap gets wet then simply hang it up at room temperature to dry.

And finally, we recommend your guitar strap stays out of direct sunlight.
